Who I am

Hello. I’m Daniel Macedo. I’m currently working with product design at Truelogic and Mediacurrent. For me good design is not just what looks good. It also needs to perform, convert, astonish, and fulfill its purpose.

Experience

20+ years of experience at major agencies and groups such as Truelogic, Mediacurrent, Figtree & CO, Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center (CA), Heads Propaganda and Isobar. I have worked at clients like Bradesco, Boticário, Tim Brasil, Vivo, 3M, Tigre, Positivo, Sony, Unilever, Cielo, Coca Cola, Volkswagen, Petrobras, Caixa, Banco do Brasil, Santander, and others.

Code and Theory Network - 2022 to present

I’m currently working side by side with two Code and Theory Network agencies, Truelogic and Mediacurrent.

I’m working in product design projects from inception to execution. Working closely with strategy, content and development, as well as clients and stakeholders. Proud to be part of a great strategy team who create projects that ensure clients and internal organizational needs are articulated through principles of layout, UI and UX design.

Conducting product design to translate business and functional requirements into comprehensive user journeys. Additionally, always trying to tell visual stories thought good design.

The goal is always seek the creation of best-in-class look and feel, interactive and user experiences.

Figtree & CO - 2020 to 2021

As a Design Director O worked at Figtree & CO with Transformative Imagination Design, a new way to find purpose for brands and products blending design, creative strategies and strong storytellings.

At Figtree I’ve also worked with UX design for AI. The challenge is think about the future of no screen interfaces.

Samsung SSIC - 2016 to 2020

Based in Brazil and remotely working as a senior design consultant at Samsung SSIC CA with Samsung IoT, Samsung Catalyst Fund, Samsung DRVLine and Samsung Forum.

Heads Propaganda - 2013 to 2016

As a Creative Director at Heads my work was to contribute to the development of digital media and marketing strategies, drive the collaborative efforts of the project ‘s creative, user experience and technology teams, and drive teams to exceed expectations on all levels.

Main clients: Boticario Group, Cielo, Caixa, Petrobras, Unimed.
